FAST and the dealer couldnt even fix!!
“All I can say is WOW! \n \nMy car had a check engine light for like the longest time. I would leave the local VW dealer ( both of them ) and within 20 miles, bingo!!! the light back on. \n \nThis guy Jack is nuts, but in a good way! \nHe won't move an inch until he knows your not wasting his time with paper after paper to be signed. \nThen he scares you with a estimate form before he even starts. He gives you two choices of cost to repair verbal with scanner data for 300 USD, vs itemized for 1300 USD. \n \nYeah, I know thought I was gonna leave to at that point. Then he says to me. You will not be leaving with the check engine light on after I'm done and I won't be taking the bulb out! Starts telling me about the long road test he is going to perform and after the repair to verify so no stupid light bla bla painful :). \n \nSo now I know I have him, because even the dealer couldn't get the light out and stay out. So I'm in. He calls me the same day and says you owe me 320 USD + 20 USD gas and tax. \n \nHe says lets go for a ride. Now take me to Middletown and back and lets see if the light comes on while I log the session with the scanner. \n \nI'm like ok but what was wrong. He says, nope not yet, can't tell ya, that's a secret. \nSo we drive and now I'm like what happened to my car it felt like it had wings. \nWe get back, no light. Jacks like are you happy? All I can say is like WT* just happened. He's like you ready for your solution? Pull's out a ziplock bag with a little hose and valve in it. I'm like your kidding right. He's like nope, I'm not. \n \nSo my bill was 320 USD + gas and tax. \n1 hour of his time @ 90 \n100 USD for readiness tests \n( Which I still don't, but now sort of understand after he showed me on road test. ) \n100 USD for hooking up to his VAS scan tool from VW, the real one not a OBD2 scanner. \n \nSo all I can say is, if you care about your car and want work done right. GO HERE!!!!” -
